Remmen Brakes and Canguro Racing have teamed up for the 2019 racing season of the Bonneville Offroad Racing (BOR) organization as well as the Baja 1000. The BOR racing organization is based in Salt Lake City, UT and holds four gruelling racing events taking place from April to October.
Canguro Racing was formed about 10 years ago by a group of individuals with a shared love of the Toyota Land Cruiser LC200; their racing platform. The team’s passion for racing and its desire to get better and faster has led them across the globe to countless races (such as the Baja 1000). The choice to choose Remmen Brakes as their sole partner for brake friction products stemmed from their need to improve their braking performance.
A Toyota Land Cruiser is a very niche racing platform and we’ve always struggled to find performance braking pads and rotors that satisfied our needs. We’ve tried various combinations from big name vendors but have never been happy with the results. Remmen’s ability to provide us with custom compounds that not only match our driving styles, but also meet the specific demands of a 1000 mile, 30+ hour desert race, made them the perfect choice for a Canguro Racing partnership.
